Art Deco 18ct Gold Ruby and Diamond Ring

Beautiful Art Deco 18ct Gold Ruby and Diamond Ring. Exquisite art deco ring consisting of excellent coloured bright brilliant cut diamond of excellent colour and clarity with no carbon inclusions to be found- measuring 5mm x 5mm. The diamond is set into white gold and surrounded by a halo of caliber cut rubies of beautiful colour. There are a further 42 small brilliant cut diamonds curving around the rubies and the central diamond forming a target style ring. The total diamond weight is approximately 0.92ct. The total face of the Ring measures 14mm x 18mm. Would make a wonderful classic ruby engagement ring or pretty dress ring. Its a show-stopper, it twinkles and glitters from every angle. Ring is in overall very good condition, the stones have no chips and the shank is strong. There is a historic flaw in the gold casting underneath, but this is not noticeable and does not affect the ring in any way. Shank is not hallmarked but has been tested for 18ct white gold throughout and most certainly dates to the early art deco era. This ring is size UK J and US 4 3/4 Weight 4g
