Rare Art Deco Silver Bridge Trumps Marker by Henry Perkins & Son, London 1920

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a good quality and good size solid silver trumps marker. These playing card markers are few and far between and this one is a wonderful example. The loaded stepped circular base with rectangular silver frame terminating in ball finials. The hanging celluloid cards painted with the four suits, no trumps.

Underside lined with black Morocco leather.

Hallmarks:

HP&S for Henry Perkins & Sons.

Date letter "e" for 1930.

London Assay mark.

Lion Passant.

Dimensions:

Height: 7 cm / 2.6 inches.

Width of frame: 4.5 cm / 1.6 inches.

Diameter: 7cm / 2.6 inches.

Condition:

Very good.

Silver base and frame in excellent condition.

Very minor dings round the silver casing.

Sits evenly on flat surface.

Good set of marks.

Cards complete.
