Beautiful 59g Swedish 1879 Solid Silver Box Victorian Antique

Description

A beautiful Swedish antique solid silver box. It is hallmarked with the Swedish three crowns silver mark a makers mark and the date code for 1879. It has been beautifully made being internally gilded and engraved with the initials JCJ. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, a slight push to the base edge see final photo. The inside is perfectly clean and the lid closing tightly. It measures approx. 2.25 inches (5.7cm) across by almost 2 inches (4.5cm) tall and weighs 59 grams. A beautifully and unusual made piece.
