Description

A good quality mahogany chiffonier dating from the early 19th Century. It has a cupboard base and the door panels are lined with a pleated material. It has a shelved interior with two adjustable shelves and they are edged in their original tooled red leather trim. The top has three graduated shelves with turned supports, a small raised gallery and a panelled back.

It is in good condition and is strong and sturdy. The original polish has worn a little in places on the doors but the whole piece has been gently waxed and it has a lovely patina. There have been a couple of old repairs and there are of course some signs of age and use but no major damages and it displays well.
