Rare American Solid Sterling Silver Pea Pod Scent Perfume Bottle C1900 Antique

Description

A rare American antique solid sterling silver scent / perfume bottle. It is hallmarked STERLING along with a makers mark which looks to be Whiting. I would date it to c1900. It has been beautifully designed having a peapod shape and is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, it is clean inside. It measures approx. 3.25 inches (8.3cm) long by almost 1 inch (2.6cm) wide and weighs 20 grams. A rare example.
