A top quality English solid sterling silver and rose gold box / case. It is hallmarked for London 1939 with the maker being difficult to decipher. It has been beautifully made being engine turned with the lid being sprung so opens automatically when the catch is pulled forward. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean and gilded. It measures approx. 3.25 inches (8.3cm) across by 2.75 inches (6.9cm) wide by over 0.25 inch (1cm) tall and weighs 106 grams. A very high quality example.
