Richly coloured Victorian gold studs, each set with a tiny gleaming star-set pearl within a rope-twist frame.

• Condition: Excellent antique condition.

• Fixing: Posts and nine-carat gold butterfly scrolls.

• Hallmarks/stamps: None on the earrings, 9CT on the butterflies. The studs test as minimum nine-carat (375) gold fineness.

• Era: Victorian (late 1800s), with later posts.

• Size: Approximately 1.2cm diameter.

• Weight: 2.4g.
