Early C17th Column Leg Joined Stool, Joint Stool

A fine early C17th century stool of good height retaining its original ball toes, the column turnings are well executed and the foot rails have a moulded decoration. The seat has a generous moulding and is held by six pegs. A good original stool with no replacements or restorations and with good patination.
