Large Edwardian Silver “ Pig” Pin Cushion by Adie & Lovekin , Birmingham 1907

Description

This fabulous and very collectable silver mounted “pig” pin cushion was made by the renowned Adie & Lovekin and is dated Birmingham 1907. It is a sizeable example, measuring a little 3 inches long and 1.5 inches high. The silver casing beautifully modelled and with lots of character. Fitted with a dark blue velvet cushion.

Hallmarks:

L&S for Levi & Salaman.

Lion Passant.

Date letter "h" for 1907

Birmingham Assay mark.

Dimensions:

Length: 7cm / 2.6 inches.

Maximum width: 2.5cm / 1 inch.

Maximum height: 3cm / 1.5 inches.

Condition:

Silver casing in very good condition.

Blue velvet cushion in very good order.
