Six Heavy 154g German 800 Solid Silver Ice Cream Spoons C1930 Art Deco

Description

A superb heavy set of six German solid 800 silver ice cream spoons. They are all hallmarked with the 800 silver standard marks, the German state mark and the makers mark POSEN. I would date them to c1920-1940. They have a very stylish Art Deco design with gilded bowls and handles engraved LB or BL. They are in superb condition being free from dings and repairs. They measure approx. 5.5 inches (14cm) long by over 1.25 inches (3.3cm) wide and combined weigh 154 grams. Beautifully made examples.
