Here we have a very rare and exceptional quality 15ct Gold, pink Topaz and seed pearl pendant and necklace by renowned Norwegian goldsmith Maruius Hammer (1847-1927) who was the son of a Goldsmith (Lauritz Hammer) and born in Bergen, he studied in Hamburg and Berlin before opening his own workshop in Bergen in 1871.
This exquisite Art Nouveau piece is a 15ct Gold and enamel necklace and round drop pendant with red enamel and filigree decoration, it is cleanly stamped 625 and ''MH'' to the reverse. The roundel connected with further enamel and filigree design and is all housed in it''s original retail presentation box for K. Anderson od Stockholm.
This is a rare piece to come to the market as the vast majority of Hammer pieces are in Silver or Silver Gilt and not Gold and is in perfect condition with zero damage to the enamel.
