We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.

Scent bottles from this era were typically manufactured in small, portable sizes featuring precious metals such as sterling silver collars alongside cut, moulded, or coloured glass to protect volatile fragrances.

Makers commonly combined blown or cut glassoften tinted in hues like cranberry or pinkwith sterling silver, gold, brass, or cut crystal stoppers.

Authentic pieces usually bear British hallmarks stamped onto the silver collar, indicating the assay office, makers mark, and date letter corresponding to the period of production.

These small decorative objects work effectively when displayed in groups on mirrored trays, dressing tables, or open shelving to catch natural light.

Clean the glass gently using lukewarm soapy water, avoiding harsh chemicals, and treat the silver collar with a soft microfibre cloth to manage natural oxidisation without damaging surrounding glass.
