Description

A very fine Regency burr elm and ebony cylinder desk / bureau in the manner of George Bullock, circa 1820 - 1825. The base comprising twin cupboard with two panelled doors with fluted pilasters with a single drawer above. The cylinder top opens to reveal a beautifully fitted interior with drawers, five drawers and a pull out leather writing surface. Original mirrored back and shelf with ormolu gallery all supported by S scroll brackets. Original locks and keys.

In beautiful condition throughout, having been professionally repolished and offered in top showroom condition.
