Antique Walnut and Satinwood Writing Cabinet

Description

A beautifully crafted antique writing cabinet made of walnut and satinwood. It features a molded cornice top above two elegantly inlaid cupboard doors, which open to reveal a well-organized interior with pigeonholes, small drawers, and an upper shelf. For convenient transport, the bookcase separates into two sections at the mid-point. The lower section includes a fold-over writing surface with a green baize top, followed by three graduated drawers adorned with delicate inlay detailing. The piece is supported by a shaped apron and bracket legs, adding to its refined charm.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout, with some signs of age and use, as pictured. There is surface wear, including age-related marks and scratches. Staining and marks are visible on the top, along with a crack on the front of the cupboard doors. The sides show some splitting, and there is a noticeable scratch on one side.
