Good Size Novelty Solid Silver Swan Pin Cushion Sewing Needlework 1920 Egypt 76g

Description

A rare good sized solid sterling novelty pin cushion. It is hallmarked with Egyptian silver marks - I would date it to the early to mid 20th century. It has been beautifully cast in the form of a swan and is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, it looks like the cushion has been renewed at some point. It is larger than most measuring approx. 3 inches (7.2cm) long by 1.25 inches (3.4cm) wide by 2.25 inches (5.3cms) tall and weighs 76 grams (including the cushion). A very good quality rare piece.
