A French 18 karat (18K) yellow gold love charm pendant with a rebus spelling out ''Plus qu''hier, moins que demain'' (''More than yesterday, less than tomorrow'') - a line taken from the love poem written by Rosemonde Gerard to her husband (the author of Cyrano) in 1889.
The word ''plus'' is symbolised by a plus sign, and the word ''moins'' by a minus sign.
Signed A.Augis, stamped with the eagle''s head for 18 karat gold and French manufacture and Augis'' makers mark.
Dimensions: 2.4 x 2.1 x 0.13 cm (not including jump ring)
