This English pearlware plate dates from circa 1800 and exemplifies the Georgian Chinoiserie style. Formed from earthenware with a white glaze and hand-painted cobalt blue decoration, the piece presents a central pagoda landscape scene complete with birds, trees, and stylised buildings. A diaper pattern border circles the inner well, while the scalloped rim features an incised and painted feather edge.
