Description

A stunning vintage hinged bangle by the high-quality Danish jewellery company Georg Jensen. The bracelet has beautiful scrolling foliate decoration to the front and is the most gorgeous rich colour, similar to a high-carat gold. One-fifth of the composition of the piece is nine-carat gold, bonded to a metal core for strength.

SIZE: Internal circumference is approximately seven inches; width 1.9cm.

WEIGHT: 52.6g - so the bracelet contains more than 10 grams of solid nine-carat gold.

MATERIALS: Nine-carat rolled gold on a metal core.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: Stamped 1/5 9CT RG, with the maker's mark GJ LTD.

CONDITION: The bracelet is in excellent vintage condition with minor surface wear consistent with normal usage, please see photos. The hinge and clasp are in good working order and there is a safety chain for additional security.

ERA: Estimated mid-20th century.
