Description

A beautiful English Victorian antique solid sterling silver travelling shaving brush. It is hallmarked for London 1894 with the maker being William Comyns & Sons. It has been beautifully designed being embossed with scrolls and birds and the Green Man. The lid and cartouche have been engraved with the initials ML or LM. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 3.5 inches (8.8cm) long with the brush inside by over 1 inch (2.8cm) across and 6 inches (15.2cm) long with the brush attached and weighs 58 grams. A very nice piece.
