George III Silver and Agate Vinaigrette Edinburgh 1810

Description

A very rare George III silver and agate antique Scottish vinaigrette. Made in Edinburgh around 1810 by Ebenezer Archibald a very rare maker. It has a beautiful brown caramel coloured agate set in a silver body. The interior is fully gilded with a part set of hallmarks on the base. The grill is typically early 19th century and the stand away hinge is also typically early 19th century. Overall the vinaigrette is in very good condition and very collectable.
