Victorian English Sterling Silver Matchstriker 1900 Unusual Design

Description

A beautiful more unusual late Victorian sterling silver rimmed glass match striker. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1900 with the maker being rubbed (the marks are weak but readable). It has been superbly made and is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs, no chips or cracks. It measures approx. 3.25 inches (7.8cms) across the base by 2 inches (5.2cms) tall and weighs 326 grams. A very well made unusual example.
