Rare Huge 13+Inch 650g 835 Solid Silver Bird Table Pheasant Figure 1950 Shooting

Description

A stunning superbly modelled very large solid silver animal figure. It is hallmarked with the German crescent moon and crown mark, the 835 silver standard mark along with a makers mark of B. Neresheimer & Sohne. I would date it to c1950. It has been beautifully modelled being finely detailed in the form of a male pheasant. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 13.5 inches (34.2cm) long head to tail by 4.5 inches (11.4cm) wide by over 8.5 inches (22cm) tall and weighs 650 grams (total silver weight, not filled or weighted). A very well designed high quality impressive piece.
