Rare German Hanau Sterling Silver Vinaigrette Shoe Box 1896 Antique 42g

Description

A rare German Hanau antique solid sterling silver vinaigrette box. It is hallmarked with German Hanau marks along with English import marks for Sheffield 1896 with the importer being Samuel Boyce (or Boaz) Landeck. It has been superbly designed being in the form of a shoe. It is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. The hinge is smooth and tight. It measures approx. 2.75 inches (7cm) long by 1 inch (2.6cm) wide by over 1.25 inch (3.4cm) tall and weighs 42 grams. A very high quality rare piece.
