Description

A very beautiful English Victorian antique solid sterling silver two handled lidded bowl or porringer cup and cover. It is hallmarked for London 1892 with the maker being Carrington & Co. It has been superbly designed in a style 200 years previous and is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs, no engravings. The bowl measures approx. 5.5 inches (14cm) across including the handles and 3.5 inches (8.8cm) across excluding them by 2.75 inches (7cm) tall and the lid 3.5 inches (8.8cm) across and combined weighs 230 grams. A top quality well made piece.
