Anton Michelsen established his company in 1841 and became one of the most important jewellery families in Denmark. After a short while, the company received it''s first commission from the Royal Family. the company is now part of Georg Jensen.
The Daisy is the Danish national flower, and when the now retired Queen Margrethe was born and christened in 1940, her mother Queen Ingrid was presented with a special version of the Daisy to commemorate the event.
This charming brooch with delicate guilloche enamel is 3.2cm diameter. Weight 9g. Perfect condition.
