Description

A superbly cast good sized Portuguese solid silver miniature animal figure. It is hallmarked with the Portuguese silver marks. I would date it to c1950. It has been beautifully designed being in the form of a cockerel. It is in perfect condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 5.75 inches (14.6cm) long beak to tail by 3.75 inches (9.5cm) wide by 4.5 inches (11.4cm) tall and weighs 214 grams. A well made rare piece.
