Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. Viking ship motifs draw inspiration from ancient Norse maritime heritage and archaeological discoveries, becoming a popular national symbol in Scandinavian decorative arts during the late 19th and mid-20th centuries.

These pieces are typically crafted using traditional silversmithing methods such as hand-raising, casting for detailed figural elements like dragon heads, and applying filigree or repousse work for surface ornamentation.

Authenticity is verified through makers marks, city marks, and purity hallmarks stamped into the metal, such as standard sterling silver designations (e.g., 830S or 925S common in Nordic silver).

Such decorative objects function well as focal points on dining tables, sideboards, or mantelpieces, contrasting against minimalist modern surfaces or complementing traditional tablescapes.

Silver should be cleaned gently using a specialised, non-abrasive silver polish and a soft cloth only when necessary to remove tarnish, avoiding harsh chemical dips that can damage intricate details.
