A beautiful rare large Norwegian solid sterling silver bowl. It is hallmarked with the Norwegian 925 standard mark along with the maker being that of Tostrup of Oslo. I would date it to c1950. It has been superbly designed being in the form of a Viking Boat. It is in superb condition, having no dings, splits, holes or repairs. It measures approx. 9.25 inches (23.5cm) long by 3.25 inches (8.2cm) wide by over 4 inches (10.6cm) tall to the top of the flags and weighs 160 grams. A beautiful rare piece.
