Description

This exquisite Art Deco silver and guilloche enamel trinket box or large pill box was made by Tuner & Simpson and is dated Birmingham 1927. The pink guilloche enamel hinged lid with an unusual and very elegant silver border. Plain silver sides and base. Gilt inner lid and interior.

Hallmarks:

T&S for Turner & Simpson

Birmingham Assay mark.

date letter "C" for 1927.

Lion Passant.

Dimensions:

Diameter: 6cm - 2.2 inches.

Height: 2cm - 0. 6 inches.

Condition:

Very good.

Enamel in very good condition.

No dings or dents to the silver

Gilt interior still bright and rich.

Base with surface wear commensurate with age and use.
