Large 4+ Inch Novelty Solid Silver Swan Pin Cushion Dish Sewing Needlework C1920

Description

A rare large solid silver swan pin cushion or dish? It is hallmarked with the German crescent moon and crown the 800 silver standard mark and a makers mark. It has superbly designed being in the form of a swan, gilded inside. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs - it will need a cushion if used as a pincushion. It measures approx. 4.25 inches (11cm) long beak to tail by 2 inches (5cm) wide by 3.25 inches (8cm) tall and weighs 80 grams. A very good quality well made impressive piece.
