A good example of a silver plated Corinthian column table lamp. It has the traditional column design set on a stepped weighted base. The base is also stamped for the maker ''Hawksworth, Eyre & Company''.
Possibly once an oil lamp base or candelabra, it has now been converted to an electric table lamp and re-wired with a standard bayonet bulb holder. It is in good working order and has been PAT Tested for electrical safety.
The lamp is in good condition. There are some minor marks and general signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. Some of the plating has worn in places, particularly around the base and where it has been handled but it has been lightly cleaned and polished and still displays well.

Height : 16'' / 40cm
