A delightful small frame.

The frame is glazed and has a red fabric silk backing. The back is in varnished wood with the original stand and hinge.
Clear hallmarks are visible on one side for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1923, the lion passant indicating sterling silver and the maker's mark S & M for Birmingham silversmiths Sanders & Mackenzie.

Condition: In good antique condition, the silver is undented. There are a few fine scratches to the bottom right of the silver frame, not very noticeable but mentioned for accuracy.
Measurements: Frame height: 12.3 ( not including bow detail), width: 9.7 cm Window size 12.1 x 8.2 x cm.
Will fit a 10.7 x 8.2 cm image (approx 3 1/" x 4")
