A George V period solid silver faced perpetual desk calendar in complete and working condition, hallmarked Birmingham 1930. Patinated ebonised mahogany chamfered foot and back section, with solid silver surround to the front. Large view window showing the calendar and smaller window above displaying the month and how many days in the month, the silver face returning around the sides to meet the ebonised back with access door for changing the month cards. Twin adjusters to the top to rotate the red line and acetate window crossing out the days as they pass. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths W.J.Myatt & Co specialist in this type of item, along with clear hallmarks. Presented in complete and working condition and in excellent original condition with a deep shine.
