Description

A beautiful Danish good sized solid silver table box. It is hallmarked with the 830 standard mark along with other marks, I would date it to the second half of the 19th century. It has been superbly designed being cast with the lid depicting a wild boar hunting scene. It has been presented slightly later being engraved Aalborg Golf Club 1912. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, a tiny mark to the base and hinge edge slightly bent see final photos. The inside is clean and gilded. It measures approx. 3.75 inches (9.5cm) across by 2.5 inches (6.4cm) wide by 1.5 inches (4cm) tall and weighs 124 grams. A very well made piece.
