Very Long Victorian 9ct Gold Longuard Chain With Albert Clip

This highly desirable long Victorian guard chain in solid nine-carat gold is a closed loop with a non-swivel Albert-style dog clip perfect for attaching a pendant, crucifix or locket. The chain can be worn single or doubled.
 
Stamped 9C JM on the clip and on a plaque on the chain.
 
In excellent antique condition.
 
Length: Approximately 57 inches. The clip is around three-quarters of an inch, or approx 2cm.
 
Width: Approx 2mm.
