Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.

Edwardian silver stamp cases were popular accessory items during the early 20th century, designed to hold postage stamps securely while reflecting the intricate decorative arts of the period.

These cases were typically manufactured from sterling silver using press-forming and hand-engraving techniques, often featuring repousse work, engine-turning, or book-shaped designs.

Authenticity is verified by examining the British hallmarks, which typically include a makers mark, a lion passant for sterling silver, a town mark such as the anchor for Birmingham, and a date letter corresponding to the specific year of assay.

These small collectable items can be displayed on a bookshelf, within a glass-topped coffee table display tray, or styled delicately upon an office desk as part of a curated cabinet of curiosities.

Antique silver should be cleaned sparingly using a non-abrasive silver cloth to maintain the patina, stored away from high humidity, and kept clear of harsh chemical cleaners to prevent surface damage.
