Superb 94g German Hanau Solid Silver Table Box 1907 Antique English Import

1900 - 1920
Description

A beautiful German Hanau solid sterling silver table box. It is hallmarked with German Hanau marks and English import marks for Chester 1907 with the importer being Boaz Moses Landeck. It has been superbly made being embossed with roses. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean and gilded. It measures approx. 3.25 inches (8cm) across by 1.75 inches (4.4cm) wide by over 1.25 inches (3.6cm) tall and weighs 94 grams. A very pretty piece.

Declaration

The Silver Squirrel has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
