They were usually woven in pairs.A good chuval face that is very well drawn with six large ''Salor'' guls and Tekke chuval guls as secondary guls. The extensive use of cochineal dye gives the superb ground colour. The elem is of the small flowering shrub design. At some time in its history the plain weave back has been removed, making this very suitable for use as a small rug. The drawing using large guls gives an open and spacious feel to the design.Excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile.
