Vintage Pink & Black Small Enamel Butterfly Brooch by Aksel Holmsen

1940 - 1960
Description

A beautiful small pink & black enamel butterfly brooch by the Norwegian silversmith Aksel Holmsen. In the form of a butterfly, the wings are enamelled in the most pretty pink colour with a black enamel body. The brooch is silver with gilt coating.

 

A gorgeous brooch - great for a collector of vintage Norwegian designer jewellery or butterfly jewellery.

Hallmarks: On the back are the marks for Aksel Holmsen - Norway Sterling 925s. There is a good fastening pin on the back.

Condition: The brooch and beautiful enamel are in super condition.

Period: mid twentieth century

 

Measurements: Height: 1.4cm Width: 2.4cm Weight: 2.5 grams

Weights and measurements are approximate.
