Size: 9ft 0in x 4ft 11in (275 x 150cm).

Antique Turkmen 'dali' Kilim of very fine weave.

Circa 1900/20.

This is a good example of a fine Turkmen kilim, known as 'dali', this translates to fabric or cloth. This example has good clear colours with a madder red ground, the highlights in the bands are in ivory, greed, orange and blue. Woven on a simple narrow loom, these kilims are usually narrow in width and of long length. These would make a great cover for furniture or a throw to go over a bed, it could be used on the floor with a good underlay.

Good condition, very slight wear.
