Description

A rare German antique solid silver gilt and enamel souvenir spoon. It is marked with the German Crescent Moon & Crown mark along with the 800 standard mark along and a makers mark. I would date it to c1910. It has been superbly designed with the bowl depicting Franz Joseph von Habsburg-Lorraine Emperor of Austria and King of Hungary, with the terminal depicting the Vienna Coat of Arms. It is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. The enamel is perfect. It measures approx. 4.75 inches (12cm) long by 1 inch (2.6cm) and weighs 12 grams. A rare and interesting piece.
