A superb antique burr walnut open bookcase, made in England and dating from around the 1930’s.

This is of the utmost quality, it is extremely well made and has a very useful design. There are four adjustable shelves with shark teeth supports, the top has stunning burr walnut grain patterns with double herringbone inlays and a cross banded edge. The sides and base are walnut with brass handles, the internal construction is all solid oak.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. There is just some normal age related wear and patina remaining beneath the polish here and there.
