A good Victorian solid silver glass mounted claret jug by John Newton Mappin, hallmarked London 1894. The beautiful cut glass body is topped with simple yet stylish silver mount with triangular shaped spout and geometric handle. In excellent condition throughout.

The height of this jug is approx 18.5cm the width from the bottom of the handle to the opposing edge of the glass body is approximately 13.5 - 14cm. The depth of the glass body is approx 13cm.
