A rare pair of early Victorian mahogany stools of elegant form, the slightly rectangular, stuff-over seats upholstered in a sage green corduroy fabric. The curvaceous cabriole legs are hipped and tapered, ending in ball-shaped toes and joined at the top by an undulating, serpentine, moulded edge to the frieze. English, circa 1840.
