Two Regency Caryatid Candlesticks

Fine and extremely elegant pair of early 19th century English Regency period patinated and gilt bronze ormolu figural caryatid candlesticks. Classically inspired Vestal Virgin type female figures supporting campana urn classically decorated candle cups with beautiful floral bobeches. The patinated and gilt bronze belted figures sit on cylindrical pedestal bases with applied gilt bronze foliate mask style mounts. Very attractive examples of early Regency candlesticks. English, circa 1815
