A very decorative and versatile sterling silver Victorian fruit basket with typically Victorian busy and elaborate decoration. It is a high quality basket and it has been made from a good gauge of silver which gives it a sturdy feel and a deep shine. It really is in very good condition with the detail to the decoration is still crisp and defined.And crisp detailed piecing .

Fully hallmarked Sterling Silver,Chester 1899

The makers mark is of Jay Richard Attenborough & co (James Charles Jay )

It is in an excellent condition with no damage or repairs.

Free from inscriptions or denting.

Some light surface wear that is noticeable on a close inspection.

A good weight of 11 oz (312 grammes )
