As desirable now as they were more than a century ago, these rare ''pools of light'' earrings feature rock crystal quartz orbs encircled in silver hanging from glittering marcasite settings. The earrings are silver with integral solid nine-carat gold wires.

• Fixing: Gold ear wires, supplied with tiny silicone ''keepers'' to pop on the back for security.
