Unusual Pair of Dutch Solid Silver Spinning Wheel Serving Spoons 1890 Antique 116g

Description

A rare pair of Dutch export solid silver serving spoons. They are hallmarked with the Dutch lion and key mark for export along with the date letter F for 1890, it is also marked with German Hanau marks. They have been beautifully designed with their terminals being cast in the form of a figure spinning. They are in good condition being free from dings splits and significant repairs - possible small old repair just above the bowl back hallmark - see photo. They measure approx. 7.5 inches (19cm) long by 2 inches (5cm) wide and have a combined weight of 116 grams. Beautiful rare examples.
