Antique Silver Plated Grapes Stand by Mappin & Webb C1880

Description

This is a charming antique silver plated grapes stand. Standing on four ribbed bun feet. The base is an oval tray with a wavy edge. The central rod is realistically modelled as a branch with cast leaves and vines wrapped around. The bottom of the rod is a bunch of grapes with vines and leaves. The top has two prongs where you would dangle your grapes or hang the grapes shears. The shears are matching with a decoration of grapes leaves and vines. c.1880 British made with a makers mark for Mappin & Webb stamped underneath.

Length of bowl: 25.5cm (10")

Width of bowl: 17cm (6.75")

Overall height: 29cm (11.5")
