A late 19th Century German solid silver jardiniere of oval form with classical swag and column decoration. A fantastic quality piece with twin linked handles, lion paw feet and a vacant cartouche to the centre. The blue glass liner is original and in perfect condition Overall, the piece is in absolutely perfect condition with the 800 silver mark and a makers mark showing a crown over the letters SR and likely to be Simon Roseau.

This is a beautiful and classical piece, heavy and substantial.The sliver alone weighs 1kg.
